OverviewCityVille is an invest and express game in which players construct grand cities with the help of their friends, working to ever improve their metropolises.  The game was one of the most popular in history with an excess of 21.5 million DAU.

CityVille Halloween

On CityVille my responsibilities began with the management of all content going into the game.  This included the creative writing for naming assets along with managing the game's tuning.  My role quickly expanded to also cover quest design for most features and creating wire frames for new user interfaces.  Over the course of my time on CityVille I also became responsible for the tuning of the most successful bold-beat features including Halloween and City at Night.

During my tenure on CityVille I would be responsible for between four to eight features a week.  These feature designs included art direction, content tuning, quest design, UI design, and sometime copy writing.  Even after completion of the designs I still worked closely with integration and QA to ensure the quality of the content going into the game.  My time on CityVille taught me the importance of player feedback and community outreach, both before a feature has been released and after.
